Student Ambassador Award Spring 2019
We are excited to announce that Peyton Anderson from USC is the Spring CYA Ambassador Flight Award Winner! Peyton went above and beyond her volunteer role, sharing her CYA experience and promoting the program on her home campus.
She told us: “I had the most incredible year studying abroad with CYA, and being an ambassador has allowed me to stay connected with CYA and tell other prospective students my study abroad story. I love getting to meet and speak with new and prospective students and give them advice on how to make the most of their time with CYA. I made so many great memories and new friends during this year, and I hope to use my flight voucher to go back to Athens sometime soon and meet back up with some of my CYA friends!”Â
We would also like to congratulate the two runner-ups Shaiane Nickerson, UNC-Chapel Hill, and Rachel Klein, Wesleyan University, as well as all of our student ambassadors for putting in such a lot of time and effort in representing CYA! This semester’s team was the largest ever and their dynamic presence really had an impact.
We look forward to welcoming the Fall 2019 team and awarding one more travel flight voucher, to further support their travel and cross-cultural experiences.
