CYA International Conference: Anscombe at 100
On the occasion of the one hundredth anniversary of the birth of Elizabeth Anscombe, one of the most significant philosophers of the twentieth century, the American Catholic Philosophical Association and College Year in Athens successfully organized the International Conference ‘Anscombe at 100: on action and living well.”
The conference took place in Athens on June 15-16, 2019.
The program brought together leading academics who discussed the work of Elizabeth Anscombe with a focus on exploring how the philosopher understands the differences and connections between theorizing about human action and theorizing about ethics, or living well.Â
