Intermediate Modern Greek II

“Intermediate Modern Greek II” for those with a solid knowledge of the language or completion of 120 hours of instruction. By the end of “Intermediate Modern Greek II” students will be able to handle a wide range of situations with complications; describe events in past, present and future; read authentic texts; make in-class presentations on a variety of topics; and write letters and simple reports.

CYA strongly encourages students to study Modern Greek while they are in Athens. CYA believes that the study of Modern Greek provides valuable access to the life and culture of contemporary Greece and aids in the acculturation of students.
