Individually supervised research project, within the framework of the three academic areas, for the adequately prepared student, on special topics not offered in formal courses. A major paper and oral defense are required. Only two Honors Tutorials per semester are authorized. A detailed written proposal must be submitted by the student to the Director of Academic Affairs prior to June 1 for the fall semester and prior to December 1 for the spring semester. The successful candidate will be notified by June 15 or December 15.
